Is fruit juice superfluous?

Published in 2011 by the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (Quebec professional order of dieticians) and the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services in collaboration with Extenso (Nutrition reference centre of Université de Montréal - NUTRIUM), this French-language leaflet reminds us that pure fruit juice, too, should be consumed in moderation. The reason is quite simple: though a source of vitamins and minerals, such juice is also high in natural sugar.
